world war I nerd Posted July 8, 2018 Share #53 Posted July 8, 2018 Another one on which I was the highest bidder. Looks like KP. Note the party sized burlap bags of spuds and the corned beef hash crate.

world war I nerd Posted July 8, 2018 Share #55 Posted July 8, 2018 This one's some sort of a forward supply dump showing a pyramid of canned rations. It's a shame that the camera man shook the camera slightly when he snapped the pic, because all the labels are a little blurry.
world war I nerd Posted July 8, 2018 Share #56 Posted July 8, 2018 Close up of the can pyramid. Karo Syrup is at the bottom of the pile. The five larger cans in the middle are all tomatoes. The cans that make up the upper part of the pyramid are all unknown. I'm pretty sure that the fourth can down from the top is condensed milk. Can anyone ID any of the others? If anyone has a similar photo (or photos) please post it (or them).

world war I nerd Posted July 12, 2018 Share #59 Posted July 12, 2018 Close up two sides of the raisin box, one from the above photo and one from another photo of the same soldier … (I took the liberty of flipping the cropped images of the boxes around so that they would be right side up).
