Help needed with flight helmets

I have the option of purchasing these two flight helmets, and I was wondering what exactly they are. The Leather one is Navy marked, the cloth one appears to be a nylon with the main body being a mesh rather than solid fabric (if that makes sense). Just curious what they are and what era they are from. Thanks for the help.

I think that the first one was for use in trainers, WW2 era, and that the second one, the green one which you said was sort of a mesh cloth, is probably the inner helmet for use with the H-4 hard shell outer helmet, as used in the Korean War era.

The first one is not a flight helmet. There's a topic here on the Forum that covers it. It goes with the Navy talkers helmet.

I think you are right about the H-4 liner. Now that I look at it, it looks similar to the one that is on my H-4. Not exactly the same, but that may just be manufacturer's differences. Thanks for the help.
