WWII USN Mosquito Boats patch, Real?

I bought this patch as a reproduction. Nothing glows under blacklight, but the black back and base wool material gives me heartburn. Reminds me of Pakistani or the 80"s British made. It is heavy thread embroidered. Is this good or bad? Thanks for the help.
