muddyboots Posted March 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2016 This small parade flag was signed by members 174th Field Artillery, it was probably signed after the war because there were no signatures of anyone killed.

sundance Posted March 15, 2016 Share #7 Posted March 15, 2016 I'd assume it's a soldier made that flag - right? The red material certainly looks out of the ordinary. It's very neat though with all the signatures and that's what makes it. Is the Christmas note from Patton on fabric? Another neat item. Thanks for showing. muddyboots Posted March 15, 2016 Author Share #9 Posted March 15, 2016 I meant - I'd assume a soldier made that flag - right? These type of hand stitched flags were made by youth groups in Germany and handed out at parades. As for the signatures it was simply picked up at the end of the war and signed by mostly members of C Battery 174th F.A.
muddyboots Posted March 15, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted March 15, 2016 I don't know why the photos show a checkered pattern?
