this is a London bridge LBT-2657 Lightweight ruck in AOR2, these were used by NSW and I have heard that some were used by 7th SFG as well. ones in other colors were used by a lot of different folks and even civilians as the non AOR1 and 2 versions are available commercially.

Bergans NSW issue artic training pack kit with day bag and both sustainment pouches. the green version which a think was called the alpine escape or something like that (I forgot) was available to the public but the ugly blue one was NSW only.

I love LBT gear, not just because its good but because Doug is a good guy and most of the folks that work at LBT are awesome. this is an example of the first item London bridge ever sold to the military. I had asked Doug about the start of LBT before and he told me the same thing he tells everyone that the start of them selling gear to the military was an order made by a Marine officer (an O-6 I think he said but I may be wrong) for a couple of thousand shotgun ammo pouches. you see early shotgun pouches made by LBT from time to time but these were ink stamped instead of silver tagged. then I found this pouch and showed it to Doug and asked about them again he said that's it, meaning its one of the ones from the original order. he said this one is one of the very early ones as the ALICE webbing on the back of this one is not milspec like later ones.

anyway its not an overly valuable pouch but its defiantly one of my favorite pieces of LBT gear and its also pretty cool to me to have talked about it with the founder of LBT.

not sure what to make of these pouches, they belonged to a CCT guy that apparently had a yard sale in the Ft. Bragg area. a yard sale hunter I know brought me a ton of stuff that belonged to the guy and these were the only things I could not figure out. no paper work came with the grouping or anything named or with his rank on it but there were a lot of radio and communications related items and there were two IR CCT patches that were well worn with the grouping so it was pretty easy to figure out what he was.
