Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2016 I haven't posted a lot lately so I figured seeing as I had some spare time I would post up some of my collection, I will probably add more to the post in the next couple of days when the weather is better. first is a ABA tactical vest, SEALs used a lot of these for VBSS but I got this one off a 5th SFG guy I know. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a south African LBV but it belonged to the same SF guy as the ABA vest, he told me he got it in trade from an south African and had it modified to use a US pistol belt. he said he never used it down range just for training. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted March 14, 2016 this is another afghan made plate carrier but in ACU with a afghan made copy of a paraclete MBITR radio pouch, it showed up at a flea marked outside Ft Bragg but that's all the provenance I have. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #9 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a PACA soft armor vest in green with soft armor, a friend of mine got this in trade from a 3rd SFG guy.
Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a pretty cool one for me as getting it was like an Easter egg hunt, it is a black buckle allied MBSS vest in MJK with OD Green pouches and map. it was scattered all over a surplus shop in different bins but after 3 trips I found all the pouches (not just the ones show) and the vest. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #11 Posted March 14, 2016 LBT-6094A in AOR1 this is another one that came in parts, I got the vest and all the pouches on it from the same guy at different times, he says he got it from an NSW guy but no proof or name. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted March 14, 2016 LBT-6094A in AOR2 this one actually is a fluke. I found it laying on the ground at a flea market with most of the pouches on it (I added the admin and 935 utility) I asked the guy selling it about it and he said he got it from a SEAL but would not tell me anything else. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #17 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a DG-MLCS first gen Rhodesian recon vest (RRV) made by Eagle in 2002. all the pouches are also eagle DG-MLCS and came with it.
Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #18 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a black buckle eagle RRV out of an MLCS kit, it came with most of the pouches on it but was missing the triple M4. it had obviously had a triple M4 from the way it was set up but someone must have pulled it off before I got it. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #19 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a eagle RRV with khaki buckles, its a total put togather with parts of late MLCS and early SFLCS pouches as well as a MBSS admin. its pretty much just a place filler till I find a better one. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #21 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a real hard to find item, its a early DIG2 (AOR1) MPCR made by eagle, its pretty much a copy of a LBT-1961A but they made them for less then a year and all were NSW contract. the later ones (also NSW only) had PALS webbing instead of built on radio pouches. Ben@HI Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #24 Posted March 14, 2016 this is a London bridge LBT-1961A AF style in woodland, its not one of the 2014 run you see all over the place but a actual 2004-2005 made example that was never used.
