gwb123 Posted March 9, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2016 I am sure many of our members have followed the restoration of PT-305, a boat that actually saw combat during WWII. The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is doing a Kickstarter Campaign to move the restored vessel back to the water and to create a shelter for it. So far they have $27K of the $100K they are asking for. The campaign ends on April 7th, and it is possible they will miss their deadline. If interested, please see their appeal website: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ww2museum/launch-pt-305?utm_source=display&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=PT305&gclid=CN7OlM-bsssCFVE0aQod3HgKrQ If nothing else, check out the video to see the progress on the restoration.
