Death of an icon

Faribault icon and former member of Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) Elizabeth "Betty Wall" Strohfus passed away Sunday evening at the Milestone Senior Living in Faribault at the age of 96.

Sad to see that she has passed on. I just found her biography "And Still Flying" in the "free" bin at the local library, and started reading it. She definitely lived an amazing life.

I met Betty a couple times.She often attended area Air Shows and was a guest at one of the State 8th AF Historical Chapter annual meetings.Great Lady.Always had a smile a mile wide and a sparkle in her eyes
