I lucked into this pair of 1935 dated trousers today. Spec label dates the pattern to 1934. Has anyone seen these or have any to show? Anyone have a list of the pattern changes in this period?

Nice pair; these are kind of scarce. They are actually not Army pants, but made for the CCC; check out the ECW contract number. I have a pair like them too; they are very well made!

What does ECW stand for? I didn't know CCC guys wore army style trousers.

At this time the army still wore breeches of similar design to those worn in WWI, but in 1937 they changed to the standard straight leg trousers used through WWII. I actually have a late manufacture pair of the breeches dated 1937, from what I believe must have been one of the last contracts. The quality of these 1930s items is top notch.

'ECW' stands for Emergency Conservation Work. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/138436-ww2-blankets-with-labels-on-ebayhmmmopinions/?p=1046114

Ah that cleared it up perfectly. Its not exactly what I was hoping it was but I still think it fits in with my interwar focus of my collection. Thank you!

So if you have one that is military patched does this mean this could have been used by the ccc and the army?
