empireguns Posted February 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2016 Found this at an auction, great UDT team set. It has divers the LCP and raft made in 1959. It's off to be listed but wanted to share it first.

Third Herd Posted February 27, 2016 Share #7 Posted February 27, 2016 I remember that this model came out around when the 1951 movie Frogmen came out on TV. I bugged my Dad to buy it for me and since I had just gotten a little sister, I didn't get it. It is funny what a 9-year old remembers.
sigsaye Posted February 27, 2016 Share #8 Posted February 27, 2016 I've built this model several times. Loved it. It has been re-issued several times. It lends itself to many diorama possibilities as it can be easily used as an LCP® for beach landing
superchief Posted May 4, 2016 Share #9 Posted May 4, 2016 I built this kit in the early 1960's, the neat thing about that era's kits was the plastic parts were colored in the appropriate paint scheme. I wasn't allowed to use spray paint and my brush painting skills weren't very good. Revell's recent re-pop of the kit has a monotone paint (gray), but these days I'm "allowed" to air brush! And yes, it recalls great memories of childhood, glue smears and all...
