Constabulary Posted February 25, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 25, 2016 I got these bits in a lot of cleaning accessories like rods brushes and so forth. I don´t know if these are just "odd" tools or if they belong to some certain weapons like machines guns or the like.
Third Herd Posted February 25, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 25, 2016 The M1950 Yukon stoves to warm tents have a wrench like the bottom right with a screwdriver blade at the other end.

US Military Guy Posted February 25, 2016 Share #4 Posted February 25, 2016 I believe we had a wrench similiar to the other one in the Basic Issue Items with the M-2 machinegun. What size is it?

US Military Guy Posted February 26, 2016 Share #8 Posted February 26, 2016 Could not find the one I thought I had, but at 3/4" it would be larger than the one I am thinking of.
m249tink Posted March 5, 2016 Share #9 Posted March 5, 2016 The bottom wrench in the second pic is for installing and removing the retracting slide handle on the M2 Cal..50 Machine Gun. Some handles had two flats as wrenching surfaces. Other handles use a hex type wrenching surface. It is not part of the machine gun BII or special tools, but issued in the Small Arms Repairmens Tool Kit since it is a maintenance tool and also used on the MK19 40mm grenade machine gun. Here is one sitting in a drawer of an older Small Arms Tool Kit (third wrench from the left).
