Vincennes Posted February 21, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 21, 2016 This weekend I bought a collection of 56 photos and postcards from the estate of a Navy sailor who served in WW2. The material is from right at the end of the war when their ship was sent to Japan to support the evacuation of POW's. I THINK the ship was the USS Mugford. But unfortunately neither the sailor nor the ship is identified. Based on dates and locations on the postcards I THINK the ship is the destroyer USS Mugford. So my question is...Does this look like the bridge of a WW2 destroyer? Paul
Salvage Sailor Posted February 21, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 21, 2016 Very well could be a Bagley class destroyer.
