I see thse pop up here, but in 22+ years in active service I can't say I've ever seen one in real life. And they're not exactly something you'd find in a soldier's barracks...

 

Was there a specific period in which these were popular, or some specific use for them? Aside from putting around pillows, of course...

I know where there are 2 stacks of over 30 or more pillow cases....

If any of them are related to Camp Hale, let me know. thumbsup.gif

yes--- i do beleive they were bought a the base px and sent to family or loved ones. they are in a feild of collecting in their own right. there are many.

I agree, they have their own level of uniqueness. I have been trying to collect other "sweetheart" items related to the 10 Mt. Div. and Camp Hale, there are some interesting pieces out there besides pillow cases.

Ok, I have never go thru both piles. Since my mom just stands there and rushes me. Next time I have an excuse... "I'm looking for one for a guy on the forum"
