Brazilian Expeditionary Force WWII repro uniform.

Here is the end result of several months work. A perfect reproduction of the "type B-1" uniform as used by Brazilian Expeditionary Force Infantry men from March 1944 to the end of the hostilities in Europe. This uniform set is patterned after original examples that have been carefully studied. The fabric is 9 ounces denim precision died to match an authentic variation of the so called "Olive Green" that was favored by the Brazilian Army during WWII.
The B-1 was devised as a summer uniform. In practice, it was often worn during the 1944-45 winter combined with other garments. It is a common misconception that the Brazilian troops were wholly equipped by the US Army with uniforms; they, in fact, fought all of the Arno, Gothic Line and Po Valley campaigns with their own nationally made field equipment and uniforms (these were combined with American supplied M-41 field jackets, tanker jackets and sometimes M-43 pile liners worn as outer jackets).

Nice work CCMAX! Also thanks for the clarification, I was one of those who thought they were wholly equipped with US uniforms and gear.
