Case M3 with M6 scabbard

The finish on the portion of the Case you show looks real (uncommitted), however, I would think I should be able to see vertical ground marks under the finish and your point (where it looks refinished) does not look as pointed as it should/could. Case did have variances though. I expect the finish is correct and it is just the lighting and flash, etc. I tried to take a few pictures of what I was talking about they came out exactly like yours so to hard to tell. I'll go with good. The mark you show is not the ordnance mark I was looking at. Here is what a typical mark would look like ( dated on left, blade marked on the right... they are far left knives in the picture. L-R dated blued, BM blued, BM parked, GM parked.. CASE M3's. The blued BM came in a horse trade or sale a long time ago with our friend Bill W.
