I received a few pictures from a friends collection.

Here is a item I haven't seen before.

Is it a original Navy item or a unofficial ?

Sorry I don't have a picture of the reverse.

First time I've seen that particular pattern. Usually they have the so-called Seawolf class fantasy pattern. Different but totally unauthorized.

 

Also comes in gilt.

That is a badge made by the USS Philadelphia association around 2002. Not officially authorized since the fairwater planes do not meet the Navy requirements. The seawolf badges were and still used by members on the seawolf from what I understand. There are a few other unoffical badges out there like DBF and the "Bush" badges.
