Dakota Posted February 7, 2016 #1 Posted February 7, 2016 This plaque is one of numerous items that belonged to a neighbor of my grandparents. At one time, it was attached to a piece of wood made for the Plaque, but it was cracked so I didn't take it. The Plaque has some cracking (visible in the picture) and a glue residue on the back of it, as well as the plate too but overall they're both in great shape. He enlisted in 1976 and qualified as an 0311, completed courses in Corrections, Military Functions in Civil Disturbances, and as a Reconnaissance Marine and was on the USS Nimitz as a Rifleman, "CorrMan", and a Guard. from May 1976 to May 1978. He was discharged in 1981 as an E-4 Corporal. The plaque also came with a plate that's inscribed with his Rank, Full Name, the time he spent on the Nimitz and Semper Fidelis. D
