#7 and last one are K-2B flight suits, #7 is an earlier one, late 50's...last one mid sixties, as it has the white tag, most likely made by Covington

#8 is a CWU-1 winter flight suit, most are all black and gold tag..earlier ones had the Hap Arnold star on left shoulder...

#3,4, and 6 are CWU-27/P current issue type flight suit's

#7, if a good size, is worth a few bucks

1) USMC Lt. Col. or USN Cdr. Party suit?

3) USAF Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol CWU-27/P. Possibly Alaska wing patch on left shoulder?

5) Looks to be a USN/USMC olive drab nylon flight suit from WWII era?

8) Just a guess--WWII Italian flight suit??

Number three has the Arizona Wing patch on it, not Alaska.

Here is the tag of number 7. How much is worth each of them please ? Thanks

very nice sz...plain jane K-2Bs, generally go for about 25.00....this one is a nice size, large, with the black tag and HA star...these go for a bit more...50.00 on the low side, and if a bidding war starts maybe up to 125...ish

nice flight suit...great for early USAF collector ...

not an expert on contract numbers at all but the 8265A means this is the second version of the 8265 K-2B so would date it to late 50's very early 60's

As noted, Item 1 is a party suit. As the name suggests, this was not an actual flight suit, but something worn for squadron or wing functions.

As it was made in Thailand, it was very likely made during the Vietnam War, or close to it.

If you get a chance, please post a close up of the wing. It appears to be for a Naval aviator, as Navy wings are gold, and USAF wings would be white or silver.

For what it is worth, the OD green Thai flight suit is Royal Thai Marines which is spelled out in the larger print on the pocket.

Hi,

This USN Party Suit is from Cdr Donald O. KNERR. Don Knerr was designated naval aviator in june 1954 and served as S2 pilot with VS 20, VS 21, VS 38 and VS 41. He was promoted Cdr on 2 january 1968 and took command of VAW 116 from 24 april 1970 aboard USS Coral Sea to 23 april 1971. He later was XO of Universty of Washington ROTC and Defense attache to the US Embassy in Munro-via. This Party suit should be from his time with VAW 116.
