Aloha Everyone,

 

These Blackinton shooting medals all belonged to a Marine marksman stationed in Hawaii during the 1960's.

He competed in USMC, USAF, USA and Hawaii State matches from 1962 to 1969 on Oahu while based at Kaneohe Bay.

His name is marked on the underside of the boxes.

That's also my favorite in the set, I like the Hawaiian Kingdom escutcheon the EGA is set on.

Have to dig out the rest of the KBay photos, but here's one of the Marine marksmen in their shooting jackets practicing on the MCAS (later MCBH) Kaneohe Bay rifle range
