strawberry 9 Posted January 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2016 This is a jacket identified to William A. Carleton who was a Squadron Engineering Officer for the 351st Bombardment Squadron/100th Bomb Group. With the help of forum member ocsfollowme, who did all the work, we were able to identify what was left of the squadron logo on the jacket. Written above the logo is Capt. Carleton. The jacket has some blowout in the back of the sleeves but still displays nicely. Mr. Carleton passed away in Jan. 2015. Photo of the jacket along with a photo of William A. Carleton possibly wearing the same jacket. I inset the 8th AAC and 351st Bombardment Squadron logos.

strawberry 9 Posted January 28, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted January 28, 2016 What remains of the painted squadron logo. Its a little more visible in hand than the photo, but enough to identify.
