I just saw this movie. I thought it was a great movie.

The movie concentrated mainly on the events and the individuals in the compounds. The movie did not go into details about the lack of response from the U.S. Government. The movie did highlight the lack of an official response, and the consequences of the inaction on the directly involved Agency and State Dept. employees. The President and his cabinet officials were not in this movie.

Overall, I think they did a great job. They managed to leave the politics out of the movie and portrayed the utter abandoned hopeless feelings of the individuals directly involved with the conflict. The movie lets the audience decide for themselves how they view the U.S. Government's response. I came away with some pretty strong feelings about my Government.
