Jonsey Posted January 24, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2016 I've always wanted one of theses, so check it off the list. I find that guidons are more "personal" than other flags and maybe that is where my interest is based. Anyway, it came locally and not from a dealer. QM tag is present and is dated 1942. Jumpin Jack Posted January 24, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2016 Nice pick up! Other than my own, I've never encountered one of these. Jack

Jonsey Posted January 28, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted January 28, 2016 Just wondering, how many of these flags were made and survived till today?
Mr.Jerry Posted January 29, 2016 Share #7 Posted January 29, 2016 Well every unit had one, But most were supposed to be Officially turned in upon disbandment of the unit. Many were presented to the Sgt or unit commander on retirement. So the answer are "a lot" and "not that many". I do have about 50 in my own collection.
