I've visited Myrtle Beach many times. The South Carolina Civil War Museum there has Civil War-WWII militaria for sale. However, it is a bit pricey. There are no places in Myrtle where you can buy antiques and militaria besides the museum I believe.

Do yourself a favor and visit the Parris Island Command Museum, the largest of its kind in the Corps. It represents the the first landing in the US thru the Civial War period, to modern day use. Admission is free. Visit on Monday, Tuesday thru Wednesday. The Depot is clogged with graduation activities. You will need vehicle and ins card, as well as drivers license to get aboard. There is a self driving tour map map available.

While in the lowcountry, stop in Charleston to see the Citadel Museum, the Hunley, the USS Yorktown and Medal of Honor museum at patriots point...
