mammut08 Posted January 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 23, 2016 Hi All, I was wondering if anyone might be able to identify this patch. It is on the left shoulder of a WW1/Early 20's reserve pilot's tunic. Thank you for having a look. Any help with the identification would be greatly appreciated. mammut08 Posted January 27, 2016 Author Share #7 Posted January 27, 2016 Hi All, Thank you for the replies. I had found all of those as possible meanings for the acronym. I think that Aerial Gunnery School makes the most sense. The tunic, although un-named, has been travelling with another (full uniform, boots etc.) named to a member of the 103 Aero Squadron. Both display the same rank of 1st Lt and the same single gold stripes at the cuffs. My guess is that the AGS tunic is a post war reserve uniform. Best, Dave
