Jonsey Posted January 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 23, 2016 Perhaps civil war era, but was it actually for military use or not. I've found knives of that time period that are similar to this style, but not been able to pin point much else. Pins in the handle are steel and blade is unmarked. Any ideas? stealthytyler Posted January 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 23, 2016 could it be WWII soldier made or a home front knife? Here is mine: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/258686-help-with-wwii-knife/&do=findComment&comment=2074779
MikeMc. Posted January 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 29, 2016 I would lean more toward Civil War era. Kinda hard to say but the way the sharp edge goes all the way back to the large guard and the butcher knife overall outline of the knife is what I am basing my assumption on.
