USMCman01 Posted January 28, 2016 Share #26 Posted January 28, 2016 These 1941 lend lease belts often times have this strange almost pea green color. From about 1939 to 1943, pistol belts we're a khaki color. Sometime in 1943, SF CO got a bit of the pea color canvas. The top belt has a pea green color dated 1943. The middle belt has a khaki color and is dated 1943. The bottom is khaki and dated 1942. All are made by SF CO.

artu44 Posted January 29, 2016 Share #28 Posted January 29, 2016 Artu....D2 I wish that I had purchased all that guy had. Hindsight! You have some nice ones there. Any idea who the S&R maker is on my holster. Meadows seems to think it is not Sears and Robuck. Do you have an idea? Thanks. Ronnie Meadows was right. After a long research Charlie Flick found that actual maker was Sheffer & Rossum, St. Paul, Minnesota
Ronnie Posted January 30, 2016 Share #29 Posted January 30, 2016 Wow Artu that is good info. After all these years of arguing with folks. where did you find your WWI holsters? Thanks. Ronnie
artu44 Posted January 30, 2016 Share #30 Posted January 30, 2016 Most on US ebay from ucrainian or russian sellers and few nice pieces on UK ebay. . I'de say at nice price. Consider that I bought the virgin Clinton 1918 for 70$ and today I think 200$ is a steal. Few nice pieces more on UK ebay.
