Nkomo Posted January 17, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2016 USMC experimental desert MARPAT uniform that was trialed before the adoption of the current MARPAT. Sleeves zip off. Not much is known about these uniforms as to how many were trialed. Not entirely sure, but I think these were trialed in the 1999 or 2000 time period. dlwebster.usmc Posted June 17, 2016 Share #6 Posted June 17, 2016 I was part of the test and eval of these prototypes. Late 2000, Early 2001, 29 Palms, Ca. Feedback was not what I thought would finalize but a wonderful experience. I still have a new set, cover, boonie and helmet covers. Very rare.
