New Nomex Flight Suits

So while visiting my local thrift store I came across a trove of brand new U.S. Army flight suits very cheap. Although have no real use for them, I couldn't just walk away and leave them there!

 

Picked up 7.

Man I know what you mean about seeing OD in a thrift store and not being able to walk away!!!

 

On the bright side.....larger sizes and in good condition, these have a good secondary market...civilian flyers and collectors like them...make good coveralls for oil changes too..

I found about 5 or 6 of these in the very same thrift store a couple months ago. Same deal - paid about $5 per.

 

I gave one to my son in law. He's a mechanic and works on our vehicles as needed in the driveway. Coveralls come in handy for him!
