MPage Posted January 6, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2016 What is the difference between this DUI, and the more commonly-seen "Sine Pari" SOCOM DUI? Is this for the HQ element?
MPage Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted January 6, 2016 Oh disregard - the other one is for US Army SOCOM....
KurtA Posted January 6, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 6, 2016 I think that's more of a lapel pin for a civilian suit than a DUI for a uniform.

rlyoun3910 Posted January 7, 2016 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2016 From 1982 to 1987 we wore these crests and flash/oval under the 1st Special Operations Command, a one-star billet. Then it changed to US Special Operations Command under a 4-star, called MFP11 (goldwatersnichols nunncohen acts). Gen Lindsey was the first after commanding the XVIII ABC and READINESS COMMAND where the billets actually came from. The earlier billets were out of hide, so to speak.--Ray ASMIC #5105
