Belleauwood Posted August 24, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2008 Thought that I would post one of my Naval Aviators, Ensign Benjamin M. Greely Jr. of the Northern Bombing Group via Italy. Ens. Greely had much experience in Caproni Aircraft and ferried them around Italy and France. He finally got to the front when he was transferred to the NBG. What a great time he must have had by starting in Liverpool, England, ---Milan, Italy---Paris and the French Coast! This uniform is the one that he wore when he was photograph was published in the books "New England Aviators" I have probably posted too many photos, but I doubt you will have many opportunities to see original paperwork and orders of the period.
