Chief D Posted January 5, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2016 Looking for approx. time frame. The eagle is sterling (not marked) and the anchors marked 1/20th 10K on 5 and then cant see the rest due to the screw back. Thanks for the assist. Dave Posted January 6, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2016 I'd consider this one "WW2 vintage". Dave
Chief D Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted January 6, 2016 Dave, Thank you for the reply. I was also thinking WWII. The ones that I have seen though, are double screw backs, or pin back vice single screw and clutch. Were different types made?
Dave Posted January 6, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 6, 2016 Yes, they're typically double screw post back. However, different manufacturers had different ways of producing them and this looks like a variation from the norm. A nice piece!
Chief D Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted January 6, 2016 Thanks Dave. Any idea on value?
Dave Posted January 6, 2016 Share #6 Posted January 6, 2016 Value-wise, I'd say between $20-$30, depending on the buyer.

Chief D Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #8 Posted January 6, 2016 I was able to make out the manufacturer. It is Amcraft. It is on the back of the anchor.
Chief D Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #9 Posted January 6, 2016 Another question. Why are some device open between the legs of the eagle? just different manufacturers?
