Looking for approx. time frame. The eagle is sterling (not marked) and the anchors marked 1/20th 10K on 5 and then cant see the rest due to the screw back. Thanks for the assist.

Thank you for the reply. I was also thinking WWII. The ones that I have seen though, are double screw backs, or pin back vice single screw and clutch. Were different types made?

Yes, they're typically double screw post back. However, different manufacturers had different ways of producing them and this looks like a variation from the norm. A nice piece!

Another question. Why are some device open between the legs of the eagle? just different manufacturers?
