Check out this awesome musette bag that my father picked up the other day. The vet was a WWII/Korea/Vietnam vet. He was an Army Engineer and retired as a Colonel. Pretty cool!

That is amazing. That is so cool! Your dad did great. I have never seen a Musette bag dated that early. Really a nice

piece.

Tyler, I think that's the 3rd Field Bag of that vintage I've seen in my entire life...kudos to your Dad!

Some of my best memories ever are of my Dad and I going through surplus stores, barns, etc. and scrounging for old treasures :)

Here is one of those 3 that I got from the old Manion's mail auction catalogues years ago.

The very next Manions' catalogue contained these Suspenders.

Check out the difference from the M1936 Suspenders of early '40s vintage:

The front harness straps are identical to the rear, with the hooks permanently riveted to the straps, similar

to the old Mills M1907 (?) Suspenders.

I think my dad is going to sell the musette bag. Trying to get a value on it given the early year and the connection to the soldier.
