bryang Posted December 20, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2015 I picked this up at this weekend's monthly Nashville flea market. It was one of those items that you don't see every day, and I thought it was pretty cool. Mine detector, with 1953 dates stamped on the wand and on the carry harness. Its damned heavy, and I'd hate to have had to carry this thing in addition to the rest of my field gear. I have no real knowledge on these as far as their collectability goes. I bought it for me because it's odd and I like it. I paid $100 for it (with a few other items thrown in for boot: a 1960's vintage USMC green fatigue uniform and a pair of old magazine cases). The second photo is with the wand partially extended. I invite any comments on this thing. Thanks - Bryan
