USN Construction Electrician rate 1958- Chevron

Just found this today, thought it was unusual. Looked it up here on the forum. All wool construction. I thought it would have been earlier production. Still a nice rate chevron.

It is earlier production, as that rate came out in 1948. Having the applied felt chevrons (rather than embroidered), it would date from the late 40's.

Thanks KurtA. I grew up in Norfolk. Big Navy town, but never really collected much of it as most of my family were all Army. I think the rates look nice. The uniforms are nicer too...
