Siamundo Posted December 6, 2015 #1 Posted December 6, 2015 I know Christmas is the time of year when our wives and girlfriends might be hoping for a new pair of earrings. Well, I picked up this bright shiny pair of chrome plated F-105 Thunderchiefs yesterday but I think I will keep them for myself If you looked closely they even have USAF and the star emblem on the wings.
Siamundo Posted December 6, 2015 Author #2 Posted December 6, 2015 I would guess these are 1960s, Vietnam vintage designed for wear by a proud pilot's wife.
viking73 Posted December 6, 2015 #3 Posted December 6, 2015 Very unique item for sure. Pretty cool, Thud earrings Thanks for posting! -Derek
Stony Posted December 6, 2015 #4 Posted December 6, 2015 I worked on those (the plane, not the earrings, lol).
phantomfixer Posted December 6, 2015 #5 Posted December 6, 2015 and you can add a Sterling Silver F-86 tongue stud....
phantomfixer Posted December 6, 2015 #6 Posted December 6, 2015 if they moved the 105 up on to the circle...would have make a 60s style peace symbol......peace love and the Thud!!!
Siamundo Posted December 7, 2015 Author #7 Posted December 7, 2015 You mean something like this? Not a thud per se, but a B-52 will create the same peace symbol.
