GOAmules Posted November 27, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2015 Hi, I bought a 1st Lt AAF uniform this weekend (will list it separately, it's very nice). These are the wings that are on it. The reverse has his initials engraved, and a tiny "Sterling". They are solid, very thick silver. I don't know the type, but can confirm the pilot flew B-17s in Europe, and did 35 missions.
