A theatre made Attack Squadron 95 (VA-95) "Skyknights" patch

Happy Thanksgiving all,
A recent find is this Japanese made piece for the VA-95 Skyknights. There are three designs of this units' patch.The third design with the lizard is the one that most of us are familiar with.This is the less seldom seen second design.The Squadron flew Skyraiders from 1952 until around 1965.This design was worn during the Skyraider era.The nickname "Skyknights" was used from 1952 until 1963,when they became the "Green Lizards",and transitioned to the A-4C Skyhawk on 15 July 1965.

 

The Skyknights deployed to Southeast Asia early in the war and flew their Skyraiders in Combat OP's over Laos.

Thanks FF,I really like the design too.I bet this patch would've looked great worn on a Flight Jacket or Flight suit.
