In total, there are 78 different pieces: V-Mail, Air-Mail, Loose Letters, and Post Cards. I have not gone through all of them yet, but they start in 1942 when we was at the Naval Training Center in Soloman (Island), Maryland and conclude around November 1944. He talks of work, leave, going to church in France, the weather, family, etc. He is very cautious to not say anything about the operations he is apart of, and even goes to say "[i wish I could tell you...]" Anyway - some of the photos I took last night did not turn out so great.
