Looking fro information on P-3 flight helmet

The History:

In first time when arrived a F-84G in Italy, with them are delivered many P-1 and Rawilngs helmet, in second time arrived the P-3 helmet but all in only one configuration with dark tabs, I don't see it in use in US service. Someone can explain it and tell me which company manifactured it ?

Some possible manufacturers of the P-3 helmet might be:

Is it possible that these helmets were made under license in Italy? Perhaps some parts or maybe LSTs made these. TOs often have templates for leather parts rather than buying them.
