KMS Hat Eagle

Recommended Posts

This is a federal hat eagle device converted to a Kemper Miltary School hat device. The KMS is soldered to the scroll and the Missouri state crest is bradded on top of the shield. I found this today in Joplin, Missouri.

I have never seen a photo of this style of hat insignia being worn. I have seen several photos with the school coat of arms and the ROTC hat insignia. During what time period would this KMS insignia have been worn?
