warpath Posted November 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2015 7th Cavalry Custer Colt SAA Army Revolver serial number 4512 which is just above General Terry's revolver serial number 4507...This revolver has an all matching receiver and frame with a later Artillery size replacement barrel...John Kopec's letter verifies the pistol as a pre Battle of the Little Bighorn Cavalry issue revolver that until now has not been recorded or accounted for since its initial shipment to the Cavalry in 1876...John Kopec verification letter is shown describing this revolver.
