rathbonemuseum.com Posted November 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2015 Looks like a cast pattern of an Amcraft. Anyone seen this before?
rustywings Posted November 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 11, 2015 Just a guess... but I wonder if your wing might be related to the University of Louisville ROTC program?
rathbonemuseum.com Posted November 11, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted November 11, 2015 Yeah, I have no idea! Nothing on this forum. Nothing on Google other than some modern embroidered wings in this pattern for modern Ultralight private pilots but that could be grabbing an early pattern and re-using it. tomcatter Posted November 11, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 11, 2015 I may be wrong, but as far as I know this is a sort of novelty wing for ultra-light ("UL") planes Pilots. Not USAAF wings... I link a photo found with Google Images for comparison.
