recent patch and insignia additions to the collection

Here are the latest patch and in insignia additions to my collection - They cam from various sources including flea markets antique malls, donations, a military show and some estate sales my brother in law attended over the past couple of months. Uniforms and misc to follow in another post.

Nice varied selection. BTW, that's a French Army arc, commemorating the valiant defence of Bir Hakeim by the 1st Free French Brigade during the Battle of Gazala in N. Africa, c. 42.

Nice Find---picture 5 bottom right side the matched pair of insignia--only used for a short period of time after World War Two----Blue Skies Mark


In Memory of Air Corps Technical Sergeant Carl F. Durfee. He died of wounds on 30 December 1944 while serving in the South Pacific. You are not forgotten.

Your Air Defense Weapons Center patch is not a military issue patch. These were made for kids jackets or some such in the 90s. Just wanted to let you know!
