mvmhm Posted November 8, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2015 Our hospice coordinator was at a meeting last week and another woman brought these items in...no info on the original owner other than they were found at an estate sale several years ago. The 8&40 was formed in 1963, so they're not particularly old, but they are eye-catching, to be sure. All pieces are made from red wool..the hats have some very minor mothing but are in overall unissued condition. Here's the cape, along with the collar detail.... cutiger83 Posted November 9, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 9, 2015 I have been looking to find out more information about this group but am confused. I see a ladies group named 40 & 8 that says they are NOT the 8 & 40 group. Do you have any information on this group other than they were formed in 1963? Thanks, Kat
