British Parachute Regiment Uniform Top

I bought this British Parachute Regiment shirt from a US Marine at a garage sale who obtained it in the Upper Gereshk Valley, Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2011. Unfortunately he did not have the name of the British paratrooper whom he obtained the uniform from.

Shirt is from the 2nd Bn - blue DZ flash.

 

This is an early MTP example based on the combat 95 shirts. These are not worn anymore by most of the British Army, however, still quite popular with the Parachute Regiment.

Cool shirt! Just a thought, why wouldnt there be Para wings? Not jump qualified and just assigned to a regiment like we do here? I guess we can hope all tye cool stuff is included.

I see them now. I knew they wore them on the sleeve, but was on vacation using wifeys tablet and had a smaller picture. Nice shirt!
