Bluespicker Posted November 7, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2015 Good afternoon all! I have obtained a rather neat SPH-1 Flight Helmet off EBAY. Form what I can ascertain: this is a fairly rare SPH-1 equipped with a United Technilogies SPH-1 Visor. This is Rare as the SPH-1 visor was normally considered standard on the SPH-2 and some SPH-1s were thought to be upgraded. This visor is clearly marked SPH-1. I would guess this helmet to be 1958-60 and it has "Search and Rescue". The name Walt Iscadden. I am trying to ID this flyer I am guessing US Navy or USMC. Anyone have any idea who Walt is?
