BEAST Posted November 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2015 I've had this photo for a couple of years and always thought it was from a B-29. I decided that I should post it here and have my assumption confirmed or get the proper identification. The control box on the viewer's left of the photo read "lower forward turret" and the rectangular sign on the bulkhead on the viewer's right reads "cabin pressure regulator" So is this from a B-29? MattS Posted November 5, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 5, 2015 B-29, Aft Pressurized Compartment, I think. The round stand in the middle is the upper gunner's seat support. pararaftanr2 Posted November 5, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2015 Agreed. He is sitting in the recessed right-hand-gunner's seat. You can see his unbuckled lap belt on the floor at his waist. That is a great photo! Regards, Paul
