Flashlarue Posted November 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 2, 2015 I was looking at some photos of flight crews from the 8th AAF and noticed something which looked odd to me. It looks like the men are wearing some sort of flip up sun shades attached to their goggles. Were these common and I have just missed them in other photos? Go to the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum and this exact helmet is on display.
