james127 Posted November 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 2, 2015 I'm going to be visiting Rome in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone has been there and had any success finding anything at a reliable place. Thanks!

1canpara Posted November 3, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 3, 2015 I just got back from there a few weeks ago. To find anything in Italy is a combination of luck and good eyes....I only found a few things, however they were mainly German and Italian (obviously) and your best bet are the weekly or monthly (depending where you are) flea markets. Antique shops and vintage shops can be good too but they usually know what they have and it's priced accordingly. Good luck! Enjoy Rome but be sure to get out to the smaller towns and villages as well, you're more likely to find militaria there than in Rome. Anzio is only 75 miles south of Rome and there's a small invasion museum there that's quite interesting. Have fun! Rick
