About 15 years ago I visited a private Confederate Museum in New Orleans. I have no idea if it is still there but if so worth a visit.

 

Apparently it is still there. Confederate Memorial Hall.

Appropriately, closed during Mardi Gras.

 

I missed visiting this museum due to construction work about 5 years ago.

Outstanding uniforms! The MacArthur Museum in Little Rock has some nice Civil War items as well if you're ever in the neighborhood.
